ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – A wanted felon was taken into custody on Friday night after they allegedly led Georgia State Patrol (GSP) troopers on a chase in southwest Atlanta.
According to GSP, at around 8:20 p.m., the unidentified suspect drove a stolen Ford F-250 past troopers on Metropolitan Parkway near Connell Avenue. The troopers tried to stop the truck, but it sped off.
The troopers tried two precision immobilization technique (PIT) maneuvers to stop the car. The second worked, and the car flew off the road and hit a utility pole, GSP said…
