2-legged rescue Chihuahua helps save his owner from ‘widowmaker’ heart attack

ATLANTA (WSB) – An Atlanta man says he may not be alive today if it weren’t for his two-legged rescue dog, who alerted him to a life-threatening medical emergency.

Andrew Kuzyk and his dog, Champ, are pretty much inseparable. It’s been that way since he adopted the Chihuahua seven years ago after the dog was rejected at birth by his mother.

“They were going to get rid of it for good, and I said, ‘No, you’re not,’” Kuzyk said.

After Kuzyk fell asleep on the floor a few months ago, Champ suddenly started acting up and pushing on his owner’s chest with his hind legs…
