Police contacted weeks earlier due to CDC shooter’s ‘thoughts of suicide,’ GBI says

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has released new details about Friday’s shooting in front of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s headquarters in Atlanta.

During a Tuesday press conference, GBI Director Chris Hosey shared the suspect, Patrick Joseph White, 30, of Kennesaw, had no known criminal history.

White had recently verbalized thoughts of suicide, which even led to law enforcement being contacted several weeks before the incident, Hosey said…
