Dejaun Dobyne, 18, of Smyrna, and an unknown person brandished a handgun, and hit the victim in the forehead and back of the head with the firearm before stealing an AR-15 rifle and a Playstation controller on Aug. 4 at 2:30 p.m. at the Extended Stay America at 3103 Sports Avenue SE in Smyrna.
The victim received a quarter-sized knot to his forehead and was treated by EMS on scene, according to an arrest warrant from the Smyrna Police Department.
Dobyne is charged with armed robbery weapon and aggravated battery disfigure. He was arrested on Aug. 7 at 8:44 p.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records…
