Joseph George Cruz, 30, of Marietta, is accused of bringing a synthetic drug in a book he possessed to the Cobb County Jail, after returning from transport from the Fulton County Jail on Aug. 27 at 8:16 p.m., according to an arrest warrant from the Cobb County Sheriff’s Office.
The drug was field tested and returned positive for synthetic drugs (“K2”). Cruz stated that the amount he had would go for $10,000 and that he was going to sell it to inmates in his dorm, according to the warrant.
