The deadly incident unfolded around 2:30 a.m. on August 13 when Lowdermilk had pulled over on a Marietta exit ramp following a minor fender bender. While the Tennessee truck driver was responsibly exchanging insurance information with another driver, Bradshaw’s Chevrolet Silverado struck him with fatal force.

Instead of stopping to help or call for emergency assistance, Bradshaw fled the scene, leaving Lowdermilk dying on the roadway.
