Two people dead, seven injured following ATV crash in Georgia

GEORGIA — Two adults were killed and seven children injured Saturday in a crash at Indian Mountain ATV Park near the Alabama-Georgia border, authorities said.

The Cherokee County Coroner’s Office reported that an ATV carrying the two adults and seven children was traveling at a high rate of speed when it collided with a second ATV. The vehicle traveled approximately 150 feet, rolled over, and struck a tree.

A man was pronounced dead at the scene, while an adult female passenger was airlifted to a hospital, where she later died. Both victims were from Rome, Georgia…
