Two Found Dead in Domestic-Related Incident at Gwinnett County Apartment Complex Near Atlanta

Tragedy struck a Gwinnett County apartment complex this past weekend as responding officers found two people dead, the consequence of what police are describing as a domestic-related incident. The Gwinnett County Police, who arrived at the scene at around 3 p.m. on Saturday, initiated an investigation at Haven North East Apartments located on Global Forum Boulevard near Atlanta. As reported by FOX 5 Atlanta, the authorities are currently not revealing the identities of the deceased until notification of next of kin is possible.

Corporal Dustin Martin-Young, speaking on behalf of the Gwinnett County Police, assured the public that there seemed to be no external parties involved in the incident. However, the question of whether the deaths were a result of a murder-suicide still hangs in the air. “At this time, we do not believe that there was anyone else involved in this incident,” Martin-Young told FOX 5 Atlanta.

As the investigation continues, the Gwinnett County Police Homicide Unit, and a Crime Scene Unit have been actively processing the situation.
