Austell man accused of home invasion, aggravated assault with knife

Josiah Johnson, 24, of Austell, is accused of committing a home invasion on Sept. 8 at 11:25 a.m. at a residence at 4670 Ewing Road in Austell, according to an arrest warrant from the Cobb County Police Department.

Johnson kicked open the front door to the residence, pushed the occupant inside as he entered the doorway and brandished a knife to the victim, according to the warrant.

Johnson is charged with criminal trespass damage; home invasion – first degree; and aggravated assault weapon. He was arrested on Sept. 8 at 11:32 a.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records…
