The event, supported by Petco Love, is part of a larger push to ease the burden on the shelters and make pet ownership more accessible during a time when financial constraints and housing issues are leading to an increase in pet surrenders. Prospective adopters can visit Fulton County Animal Services, DeKalb County Animal Services, and the LifeLine Community Animal Center to find pets that are ready for a new start potential pet parents can begin their search online to see the adoptable animals waiting to enrich a new home with their presence.

LifeLine runs shelters in both Fulton and DeKalb counties, managing a significant operation that extends a helping hand to over 43,000 pets annually.
