Buford Man Charged with Cocaine Trafficking and Firearm Possession After GBI and Gwinnett County Sheriff Raid

In a coordinated law enforcement effort, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) and the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office brought a 59-year-old Buford man into custody facing serious charges. Marvin Stanley Cottrell has been charged with Trafficking Cocaine and Firearm Possession by a Felon. The arrest was the result of a search warrant executed at a residence in Buford, in the county of Gwinnett, GA.

The raid occurred last Friday and was a show of power from the GBI, alongside the local sheriff’s office.
