Kenia Zavala, 23, of Marietta, is accused of driving a Kia K5 while under the influence of alcohol and crashing into a motorcyclist at 1101 Windy Hill Road in Smyrna, according to an arrest warrant from the Smyrna Police Department.
Zavala consented to a portable breath test, which displayed a positive result for alcohol. Police took two breath samples. Zavala’s first registered a breath alcohol concentration of 0.288. Her second breath sample was 0.233. She was charged using the lower of the two samples, according to the warrant.
