MABLETON, GA. — The man accused of killing and burying the body of a St. Louis native in Georgia has been denied bond following his first court appearance Thursday evening.
According to the Cobb County Police Department, 56-year-old Cecil McCrary appeared before a Georgia magistrate judge after allegedly admitting to killing 45-year-old Tange Davis — his former girlfriend — and burying her body in Atlanta.
Judge Denies Bond in Thursday Hearing
During Thursday’s hearing, McCrary was denied bond by the judge. His next court appearance is scheduled for November 12, when a superior court judge will determine whether he is entitled to bond at all.
McCrary faces multiple charges, including felony murder, aggravated assault, concealing a body, and two theft-related charges connected to Davis’ disappearance.
