Georgia man driving unregistered truck arrested after traffic stop

A Georgia man driving an unregistered truck was arrested after a traffic stop in Wildwood.

Sergio Guillen Guerrero, 38, of Lawrenceville, Ga. was driving the white 2011 Ford pickup with an expired temporary tag at about 11 a.m. Tuesday on Powell Road when an officer initiated a traffic stop, according to an arrest report from the Wildwood Police Department. The temporary tag had expired on Sept. 1.

During the traffic stop, Guerrero presented the officer with his Georgia driver’s license, but had no registration paperwork for the truck, which is owned by Kommander Industries of Forest Park, Ga. Guerrero said he had driven the truck from Gwinnett County, Ga. and was planning to drive back, even though the vehicle was unregistered.
