Tyson Jerrod Jones, 18, of Marietta, and Jasiah Ishola Alford, 17, of Kennesaw, are accused of selling airsoft guns as real firearms at a Paulding County park on Oct. 22 at 7:30 p.m., according to arrest warrants from the Cobb County Police Department.
Jones filed a false police report claiming his vehicle was stolen after he left it running out front of the RaceTrac gas station at 2732 Powder Springs Road in Marietta.
During the course of the investigation, police determined Jones drove his car to the Paulding County park where Alford, his passenger, sold two airsoft guns, posing them to the buyer as real firearms. The buyer then pursued Jones and Alford, who exchanged gunfire with the buyer as Jones fled recklessly on Brownsville Road and C.H. James Parkway in Powder Springs, according to the warrants…
