Suspect forces his way into Cobb apartment with intent to murder 2 people, police say

Police are investigating a violent home invasion at the Laurel Hills Preserve Apartments in Marietta, where Yonathan Soto allegedly forced his way into an apartment with a knife, intending to murder two people.

The incident occurred around 1 a.m. on Nov. 23, when Soto reportedly held a knife to his girlfriend’s neck before breaking into a nearby apartment through the patio glass door.
