ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — A DeKalb County woman says she almost gave $5,000 to scammers who used AI to pose as police officers.
Kayla Adeboye said there were a number of red flags during the one-hour phone call on Saturday morning, but the scammers had an answer for everything, and she says AI is taking these calls to another level.
