Jasmine Gause, 31, of Austell, and Virgil Lee Crenshaw, 36, of Katy, Texas, are accused of burglarizing the Atlantic Buffet restaurant, 3845 Austell Road SW in Marietta, on Nov. 17 at 6 a.m., according to arrest warrants from the Cobb County Police Department.
Gause acted as an accomplice and getaway driver in a silver 2018 Chevrolet Malibu as Crenshaw forced entry into the restaurant. Gause dropped Crenshaw off in the area of the restaurant then parked her vehicle and waited behind a nearby apartment building, according to the warrant.
Crenshaw shattered the front glass door. He used two long, flag head screw drivers with blue and black handles in an attempt to pry open the business’ safe. When he could not get into the safe, he took the money from the registers, according to his warrant…
