5 people injured after elderly woman crashes into QuikTrip in Lilburn, police say

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — Multiple injuries were reported after a car crashed into a Lilburn QuikTrip on Saturday night, according to police.

The QuikTrip is located along Lawrenceville Highway and the incident happened around 7:30 p.m.

Police told Atlanta News First that five people were injured, including two children, ages three and nine, and three adults. The two children were taken to the hospital, along with one adult.

“Just the glass, scratches from the glass and somebody actually got hit with the car,” said Officer Veronica Arnold with the Lilburn Police Department. “They were coming out of the door, and he got hit with it, but again, bruises and soreness from the fall.”…
