A 20-year-old gang member from Grayson, who goes by the name “Draino” on the streets, will be in jail until he is 100-years-old after he was convicted on murder, racketeering and a long list of other charges in connection with the death of another man during an attempted drug heist earlier this year.
A jury found Adrian “Draino” Synclare Johnson guilty this past Friday on nearly two dozen charges ties to the death of 24-year-old Gerryon Ly’Darrius Ceasor, who was fatally shot in February. The Gwinnett County District Attorney’s Office said Johnson was sentenced to 80 years in prison, including two consecutive life sentences, including at least one without the possibility of parole, plus another 20 years to be served in confinement after the two life sentences.
“Gang violence is intolerable in this community, and we will do everything we can to stop it,” District Attorney Patsy Austin-Gatson said. “We want to thank the jury for this verdict that sends a message that gang behavior will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law when their activities bring life-threatening situations to this community. We hope that this verdict and sentencing bring justice and solace to the family and loved ones of Mr. Ceasor.”…
