Grayson Man Sentenced to Life Without Parole Plus 80 Years for Snellville Gang-Related Murder

A Gwinnett County jury has convicted 20-year-old Adrian “Draino” Synclare Johnson for his involvement in a deadly gang-related drug heist that claimed the life of 24-year-old Gerryon Ly’Darrius Ceasor in Snellville. Johnson, from Grayson, was found guilty on multiple charges including malice murder, felony murder, and violating Georgia’s RICO Act, as reported by FOX 5 Atlanta. The shooting occurred after Johnson and his associates attempted to rob Ceasor of marijuana during a purported purchase. The incident, which took place in February 2025, followed a January offense where Johnson conspired with fellow gang members to steal a Draco semi-automatic pistol.

The case against Johnson progressed swiftly, with the defendant requesting an expedited trial. He was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole, plus additional consecutive terms tallying an extra 80 years, effectively ensuring to keep him behind bars for the rest of his life. District Attorney Patsy Austin-Gatson was quoted saying, “Gang violence is intolerable in this community, and we will do everything we can to stop it,” in a statement obtained by FOX 5 Atlanta.

The verdict delivered by the jury was intended to send a strong message regarding the county’s stance on gang-related activities. “We want to thank the jury for this verdict that sends a message that gang behavior will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law when their activities bring life-threatening situations to this community,” Austin-Gatson further expressed. In the wake of the trial, hopes were voiced that the sentencing would bring justice and solace to Ceasor’s family and friends, as mentioned by 11Alive…
