A Cobb officer was arrested Tuesday and charged with two counts of child cruelty, the department announced Wednesday.
Officer Tyler Bertolini, of Canton, is facing charges of first- and third-degree cruelty to children following an investigation from the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office. He was booked at the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center after his arrest.
Sgt. Eric Smith, a spokesperson for Cobb Police, said Bertolini has been placed on administrative leave “pending the outcome of the legal process.”…
