Police allege $7K shoe theft in Town Center mall break-in

Tyrone Howard of Tampa, Florida is accused of joining three others to break into the Foot Locker and the NDM Market in Town Center mall, on June 20, 2025 at 11:36 p.m. while the businesses were closed, according to an arrest warrant from the Cobb County Police Department.

The suspects breached through a roll-up door at NDM Market to then breached through the wall into the adjacent Foot Locker and steal approximately $7,000 in shoes, according to the warrant.

Howard is identified as the renter of a U-Haul box truck captured on video being used in the burglary. He was also captured on video parking the truck at an adjacent hotel parking lot and walking to join the other perpetrators at the mall. Geolocational records from Howard’s cellphone place the device at the scene during the time of the break-in. Howard was also implicated and arrested in a string of similar burglaries of Foot Lockers at malls in Florida, according to the warrant…
