The “Trapped and Trafficked” Human Trafficking Awareness Town Hall in Gwinnett County scheduled for Monday, Jan. 26 has been postponed due to Winter Storm Fern.
Hosted by District 3 Commissioner Jasper Watkins III, the event will focus on education, prevention, survivor support and available community resources.
The town hall will feature a panel of experts including Lanie George, Major Jordan Griffin, Sgt. Jon Doherty, Candice Pitman, Solicitor-General Lisamarie N. Bristol, District Attorney Patsy Austin-Gatson, Pat McDonough, Marina Peed, Te’Kesha Wideman-Smith, Lisa White, Tami Wilder and Angie Ulibarri.
There will also be a resource fair with feature tables hosted by Because One Matters, GUIDE, the Gwinnett Coalition, Gwinnett Fire and Emergency Services, the Gwinnett Sheriff’s Office Mental Health Task Force, Mosaic Georgia, Revved Up Kids, Sandra’s Giving Heart, Single Parent Alliance and Resource Center, Street Grace and View Point Health…
