Local entrepreneurs Priya Raje and Samir Shah recently announced the opening of Lotus Farmacy, Gwinnett County’s first medical cannabis pharmacy, which touts a patient-first, healthcare-focused approach to medical cannabis.
Lotus Farmacy was created to provide a professional, welcoming and stigma-free environment for patients seeking relief through Georgia’s Low THC Oil program.
“Lotus Farmacy was inspired by my mother-in-law Meenal, who was diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer,” said Raje in a news release. “She tried many traditional medications for pain, nausea, appetite and sleep, but they came with difficult side effects.
