COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Authorities have released the 911 calls weeks after an elementary school principal was involved in a crash and charged with DUI.
In addition to the DUI charge, a police report said Jill Spiva was also charged with failure to maintain lane and an open container violation.
Cobb County officers were called to the collision that happened at the intersection of Ebenezer Road and Sandy Plains Road on Thursday, Jan. 8, at around 4:44 p.m. Police said an investigation determined the driver who caused the crash, Spiva, was under the influence of alcohol.
