The trial for a man charged with killing the father of his wife’s child in Cherokee County began Thursday with opening statements and witness testimonies.
Nicholas Mimms, from Powder Springs, was indicted on March 14, 2023, on charges of malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
