The opening of all non-essential Forsyth County government offices and services will be delayed until 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 2.
The 10:30 a.m. opening includes:
- Forsyth County Administration Building/satellite offices
- Forsyth County Courthouse/judicial services
- Recycling convenience centers
- Senior Services
- Public libraries
- Parks and Recreation’s indoor and gated facilities.
Gwinnett County
- Monday will be a Digital Learning Day in Gwinnett County Public Schools. All school buildings will be closed, and there will be no in-person classes, activities, athletics, or meal services.
Habersham County
Habersham County Government to delay County Offices opening until Noon on Monday for all non-essential employees.
- Courts have cancelled Court proceedings for Monday February 2, 2026. (Check with those Elected Official of those departments to see if they are opening)
- The Senior Center will be closed to the public on Monday February 2nd, however staff should report as scheduled. There could still be some slick spots around the parking area and we don’t want to put the Seniors at Risk.
All North Georgia Technical College campuses and Adult Education centers will offer online instruction only on Monday, Feb. 2. Students should check their email and/or Blackboard Ultra for instructions and contact their instructors with any questions. GED tests scheduled for Monday are canceled…
