MARIETTA — Asher and Rose Grocers, previously Piastra Italian restaurant, is now open on Marietta Square.
Asher and Rose is a cafe and grocery store, co-owned by Greg Lipman and his mother, Betty Bahl, that focuses on locally sourced products, including potato chips, jams and jellies, honey, meat, dairy, sugar, cornmeal, fruits and vegetables. Offerings also include house-made breads, dips, hummus, ice cream, desserts and more alongside the store’s market-to-table cafe.
