Cherokee County marks groundbreaking for new passive park

Work has started on an over 500-acre passive park coming to north Cherokee County with trails for pedestrians, mountain bikers and horseback riders.

Cherokee Recreation and Parks broke ground on the Yellow Creek Road Conservation Area and Trails Tuesday.
