Plane crash-lands on busy Ga. road, hits several cars

ATLANTA, Ga. — A plane crashed into multiple vehicles on a busy Gainesville road Monday, according to police.

The single-engine plane made an emergency landing on Browns Bridge Road and Pearl Nix Parkway.

Police said the plane took off in Gainesville and headed toward Cherokee County, but encountered engine problems and turned back. It wasn’t able to make it to the Gainesville Airport and had to land on the road.
