LILBURN, Georgia – Two men are facing charges after an accidental shooting during a food delivery led to a firearm being discarded before the injured man was taken to the hospital.
On Thursday morning, February 12, 2026, at approximately 8:31 a.m., Snellville Police notified the Lilburn Police Department that a gunshot victim had arrived at Piedmont Eastside Medical Center and that the shooting may have occurred in Lilburn.
Lilburn officers responded to the hospital and located two men who had transported the victim for medical treatment. The pair initially told officers they were making a DoorDash delivery on Nantucket Drive when they saw the injured man walking in the roadway and decided to take him to the hospital…
