Three people were killed, including two children, after a fire tore through an apartment in Georgia, authorities said.
The Cobb County Fire Department said in an email to PEOPLE that preliminary information showed the fire occurred on the 500 block of Woodsong Way shortly after 10 p.m. local time on Sunday, Feb. 22.
“Crews arrived to fire in an apartment on the second floor,” fire officials said. “The flames were coming out of the window on the front side of the building and threatening the third floor apartment above it.”…
