Three people sentenced to prison for trafficking methamphetamine in Cherokee County

WOODSTOCK, Ga. — Three people, including two repeat offenders, were sentenced to prison for trafficking methamphetamine in Cherokee County, according to the county’s district attorney’s office.

During overnight hours in March 2025, a traffic stop led a Woodstock police officer to find over 175 grams of meth packed inside plastic grocery bags after a passenger, 36-year-old Ashley Nicole Hughes, tried to conceal and discard a drawstring bag.
