Cause of death for Lil Jon’s son released by medical examiner

MILTON, Ga. — The cause of death has been released weeks after Lil Jon’s adult son’s body was found in a pond.

The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s report lists that Nathan Smith died from “drowning in the setting of psilocybin use.” It explained that a blood sample tested positive for psilocin, which was described in the report as a “pharmacologically active hallucinogenic compound of psilocybin – hallucinogenic mushrooms.”
