Quinton Antonio Wood Sr, 35 of Canton, was jailed in Rome after reports said he stole $9,000 from an elderly man.
Report said that the victim was falsely informed that his bank account had been compromised and was instructed to withdraw funds for safekeeping. Wood then went to the victim’s home and represented himself in an official capacity and took the $9,000 cash from him.
