Harbor Creek Inferno Rocks Cherokee as Residents, Pets Pulled From Flames

It was a long and nerve-racking Monday night in Cherokee County as residents and their pets were pulled to safety from a three-story apartment building that went up in flames. Fire crews spent hours evacuating tenants and chasing stubborn hot spots while neighbors watched from nearby streets. Officials said several people were evaluated by emergency medical crews at the scene.

According to FOX 5 Atlanta, the fire broke out at Harbor Creek Apartment Homes off Holly Springs Parkway, where firefighters arrived to find an entire three-story building already burning.
