Visitors to Cherokee Veterans Park will soon see a new addition near the playground area.
On Tuesday, the Cherokee County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved a construction agreement with Caliber 1 Construction, Inc., to build an amphitheater pavilion at Cherokee Veterans Park. The agreement is for $340,662 with a county-controlled contingency of $50,000, for a total cost of $390,662.
