From doughnuts and peach pies to cake and chocolate chip cookies, Georgians love our baked treats. Another favorites is brownies, and recently TastingTable posted a list of “Where to get the best brownies in every state, hands down.”
To make its decisions, the platform looked at restaurants with minimal negative feedback and overwhelming support from customers on review websites. Brookies and blondies were not considered.

Representing Georgia is Sugar Shane’s, a bakery chain with a menu that changes every week. TastingTable says depending on when you visit “you might get a tiramisu brownie, an espresso brownie, a cosmic brownie, or something else entirely.” They also highlighted the Dubai chocolate brownies, which have reportedly performed well, and the cheesecake brownie.

Sugar Shane’s in Sandy Springs is open 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Monday-Thurday, an extra hour at the end of the day on Friday, 11 a.m. to midnight Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Sunday.
