Roswell police and several other agencies flooded the area around Pine Grove Road and Shallowford Road on Sunday night after an armed robbery suspect led officers on a short vehicle chase that ended in a crash near the Cobb County line. The driver bailed out and disappeared into nearby woods, triggering an intense ground search.

Officers described the suspect as a dark-skinned man wearing a green jacket and dark clothing and warned residents that he should be considered armed and dangerous. People in the area were urged to avoid any confrontation and to call 911 immediately if they saw anyone matching the description.
