GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Gwinnett County Police said a driver is facing multiple charges after they hit a patrol vehicle, injuring an officer while trying to flee from a traffic stop.
According to police, officers received a Flock alert on a black Ford Explorer that had previously fled from officers on more than one occasion on Jan. 22.
The vehicle was located on Centerville Rosebud Road by an officer who attempted a traffic stop. However, police said, instead of pulling over, the driver made an unsafe U-turn, ramming a patrol vehicle and injuring the officer…
