Roswell personal care home shut down, 10 seniors relocated

ROSWELL, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — Police have shut down what they call an unlicensed personal care home, arresting its operator and relocating 10 of the facility’s residents.

On Wednesday, Roswell police arrested Deborah Callaway, 58, on two counts of elder exploitation, two counts of elder trafficking, one count of financial transaction card fraud, one count of theft by taking and one count of third-degree forgery.

Police said their investigation began in early January after an elderly man was reported missing from 1090 Worthington Hills Drive. While the man was eventually located safe at an Atlanta shelter, investigators learned Callaway was operating the Worthington Hills address as a senior care home…
