A body found Friday in a grassy patch off Bald Ridge Road near Pirkle Ferry Road in Cumming drew a heavy law enforcement response and brought in state investigators. SkyFox aerial footage captured multiple police vehicles and a gurney behind a gas station and a nearby shopping center, while detectives on the ground treated the case as an active death investigation.
