Boil water advisory issued in Roswell after water main break on Holcomb Bridge Road

ROSWELL, Ga. — A boil water advisory has been issued for a portion of Roswell after a water main break along a busy commercial/residential corridor.

Fulton County officials said the break occurred at Holcomb Bridge Road and Warsaw Road, and the boil water advisory applies to a quarter-mile radius primarily impacting Swaybranch Drive.

“The main break, which occurred on March 20, may be disrupting your water supply or causing water pressure in parts of the water system to drop to very low levels,” a release said. “This notice is being issued out of an abundance of caution – there is the potential a health hazard may exist due to microbial contamination in these areas without positive pressure. To protect the public from a potential health hazard, customers in the area are advised to use only boiled tap or bottled water for drinking, cooking, or preparing food.”…
