Pet sitter in Forsyth County arrested for theft at client’s house

A woman was arrested on theft by taking charges in Forsyth County after she allegedly stole 18 items from a home she had been hired to pet sit for.

The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office said Cindy Love had been hired to stay at the victim’s home overnight and care for her pets in February. In early March, the victim noticed that clothing was missing from her closet as well as several River Bend Ranch steaks missing from her refrigerator. The victim contacted FCSO to report the items missing.

FCSO said Love had previously been arrested for the same thing back in 2024, when she had several investigations in multiple jurisdictions for theft. In 2024, she allegedly stole jewelry from a victim in June and jewelry, handbags, and clothing from another victim in August. She would take the items and sell them to consignment shops. Those cases are still going through the court system, FCSO said.

In the 2026 case, detectives gained enough evidence to secure a search warrant for her home. During the search , the 18 stolen items were recovered…
