Man Sentenced To 50 Years For Beating Girlfriend To Death In Sandy Springs

SANDY SPRINGS, Georgia – A man has been sentenced to decades in prison after being convicted in the brutal killing of his girlfriend in Sandy Springs.

On Thursday, March 19, 2026, Mamadi Tambajang was found guilty of malice murder (family violence) and aggravated battery (family violence) in the death of Amber Kelly. He has been sentenced to serve 50 years before becoming eligible for parole.
