The City of Roswell, Georgia has begun construction on the Riverside Park Renovation, a major project funded by the voter-approved 2022 Recreation and Parks Bond. The groundbreaking took place on Friday, March 13 at Riverside Park.
The renovation will add a new open-air pavilion, a nature-inspired playground, an updated sprayground, improved event and bandstand areas, and upgraded park infrastructure. The project also includes planting 307 new native and canopy trees to enhance the park’s landscape and environmental health.
During construction, Riverside Park will be temporarily closed, and the Riverside Sounds concert series will pause. The park is expected to reopen in Summer 2027…
