Music lovers in Gwinnett County won’t have to travel far this year to scratch their favorite itch as the city of Sugar Hill — celebrating its 87th birthday — recently announced a host of concerts at the award-winning Bowl at Sugar Hill and the venerable Eagle Theatre.
The summer of song kicks off on Friday, May 22 at The Bowl when funk-and-soul legends the Commodores team up with Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees The Spinners for a night of hits like “Easy,” “Three Times a Lady” “Nightshift,” “Could it be I’m Falling in Love” and “The Rubberband Man.”
In addition, The Bowl at Sugar Hill will play host to a number of sure-fire crowd pleasers, including rising country star Chase Matthew (Friday, June 5) and veteran singer-songwriter Andy Grammer (Sunday, Aug. 9)…
