Human skeletal remains found during a construction project in Gwinnett County have now been identified as a man who had been missing for nearly five years.
The Gwinnett County Medical Examiner’s Office, in partnership with the Lawrenceville Police Department, confirmed the remains belong to Timothy Mitchell Williams, who was last seen in 2020.
The remains were first discovered on February 10, 2025, by construction workers expanding Northside Hospital Gwinnett near Highway 316 at the Duluth Highway (Highway 120) exit.
