Jury indicts man accused in fatal Target shooting

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — The man accused of shooting and killing a local father in a Target parking lot was indicted on murder charges Wednesday.

Tyler Edward Linn, 30, of Cumming, is accused of shooting Mathew Traywick outside of the Target on Abercorn Street on Jan. 4. According to Linn’s indictment, the shooting took place in the presence of two of Traywick’s children.

On Feb. 13, the 30-year-old made an appearance in court along with an officer who responded to the shooting. The officer said Linn told him the reason he shot Traywick was because he wouldn’t leave him alone.

Linn and his wife parked in the Target lot, when his wife ran into trouble getting out of the car because Traywick’s vehicle was parked too close, Linn reportedly told the officer…
